Staff Sgt. Daniel Agosto has been in the Army for 15 years and currently serves in the Army National Guard and is currently assigned to the Soldier Recovery Unit at Fort Bragg. After knee and back injuries, SSG Agosto was forced to redefine what fitness meant to him.
Through the support of the SRU and adaptive sport training, he rediscovered purpose, shifting from pure bodybuilding to endurance, resilience, and total performance. Competing at the Warrior Games represents growth, discipline, and proving that setbacks do not define a Soldier’s future.
Agosto thanks the SRU staff for pushing him to pursue the Army Trials.
