Chief Warrant Officer 3 Cody Edgerton enlisted in the U.S. Army and began his career with the 3rd Infantry Division. After serving at multiple duty stations and deploying several times in support of global operations, he spent nearly a decade supporting special operations forces in demanding and austere environments. Edgerton now concludes nearly 20 years of active service as a 920A property accounting technician, returning to where his journey began.

After years of unexplained pain and months of worsening symptoms, Edgerton was diagnosed with stage 3B cancer. His recovery brought him to the Fort Stewart Soldier Recovery Unit, where he also faced additional medical challenges, including breathing complications, neuropathy, the need for total shoulder replacement and compressed discs in his lower back.

Adaptive sports became a turning point in his recovery. Through strength training, Edgerton learned to feel the weight in his grip again, steadily pushing his physical limits with patience and discipline.

Motto:
"Deliberate. Not dramatic.”
