Lt. Col. Sherri Sanders was deployed to Kuwait in 2024 as the Deputy Commander for Nursing. She has served over 26 years on Active Duty and in the Army Reserve. While attached to the Fort Stewart SRU, she competed in her first-ever local Warrior Games, medaling in wheelchair rugby, basketball, and sitting volleyball. Lt. Col. Sanders is honored to have the opportunity to compete at Warrior Games as it symbolizes her continued healing.
