Staff Sgt. Brittany Wolfe takes pride in nearly eight and a half years of service across active duty and the Army Reserve.
While on active orders in 2024, she was involved in a motor vehicle rollover that caused multiple spinal fractures, a hip injury, and a traumatic brain injury. In 2025, a surgical repair of her hip led to severe complications, including liver and kidney failure, and she remained hospitalized for a month.
Wolfe struggled with the possibility that she might never return to the physical activity she once enjoyed, but that began to change when she discovered adaptive sports through the Soldier Recovery Unit at Fort Bliss.
This new discovery gave her renewed purpose and a way to reconnect with what she loves, even if it looks different now.
Competing in her first Warrior Games is a major milestone, proving to herself and others that perseverance still wins. She thanks her family and friends for supporting her through every step of her healing.
