Staff Sgt. Justin L Callison, a Braxton County, West Virginia native is a 12C Bridge Crewmember. Callison enlisted into the Army in 2011. Since entering service with the 459th Engineer Company Callison has served in multiple leadership roles such as Team Leader, Section Leader and Platoon Sergeant.
Callison’s most recent deployment to Iraq in 2023-24 as a 12H Construction Engineering Supervisor with the 716th Engineer Vertical Construction Company located in Somersworth, New Hampshire. During deployment Callison sustained an injury that resulted in the need for surgery and was fortunate to be admitted into the Soldier Recovery Unit, post deployment.
Callison has received multiple awards including an Inherent Resolve Campaign Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Non -Commissioned Officer Ribbon and an Army Achievement Medal.
