NEWS RELEASE: Army Recovery Care Program Launches New Website

By Julia Oliveri Army

The Army Recovery Care Program (ARCP) announced today the launch of its new website, www.arcp.army.mil. The new website falls in line with the program’s restructure efforts, promoting updates to policy and procedures that simplify entry criteria, streamline processes and focus resources to foster an environment at the unit level that serves individual Soldiers’ unique needs.

The new website provides a detailed overview of ARCP, the Comprehensive Recovery, Plan, Soldier Recovery Units, and program eligibility criteria. In addition, visitors are able to access original content developed by ARCP to include articles, photos, videos and social media posts, highlighting the stories of wounded, ill and injured Soldiers recovering in the program.

“Our goal is to educate and inform the Army about the programs and resources available for wounded, ill and injured Soldiers requiring complex care,” said Col. Myron McDaniels, Deputy Chief of Staff, Army Recovery Care Program, U.S. Army Medical Command. “In addition to managing the recovery of Soldiers, ARCP provides resources and advocacy for their Families and Caregivers.”

The Army Warrior Care and Transition Program is now the Army Recovery Care Program. Although the name has changed, the mission remains the same: to provide quality complex case management to the Army's wounded, ill and injured Soldiers.
