Fort Bliss - U.S. Army Capt. Junisa Sesay, a Medical Service Corps officer, currently assigned to the Joint Base San Antonio, Soldier Recovery Unit, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, is competing for the first time in the 2026 Army Recovery Care Program’s Army Trials, at Fort Bliss, Texas, Feb. 25 - March 5. About 80 wounded, ill and injured active-duty Soldiers and veterans are competing in the following adaptive sports: archery, cycling, field, indoor rowing, powerlifting, shooting, sitting volleyball, swimming, track, wheelchair basketball, and wheelchair rugby. The top 40 competitors will be selected to represent Team Army at the 2026 Warrior Games in San Antonio, Texas, June 13-20.
